The process to measure bike wheel size:

  • Lean up your bicycle against a wall or use the kickstand to let it rest in a steady position.
  • Use a measuring tape to measure the area from the center of the wheel to the outer edge. Now, double this number to get the right diameter size.
  • To find the tire’s width, measure the tire tread flat surface from one side to the other. You’ll find a number here too.
  • Now, to depict measurements professionally, use the diameter first and width next.
